Job summary

KNAPP ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is seeking a Paraprofessional for the MO/S - Category II Classification A role. The position supports teachers in implementing IEPs, across special and general education settings, with duties including confidentiality, attendance, and classroom assistance.

Starting Aug 10, 2026, the role is 5.75 hours per day during the school year. The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 60 college credits or a Para Pro exam pass.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 60 college credit hours or passing score on the Para Pro Exam.
• Previous experience working with students and a positive influence in education.

Responsibilities

• Maintain student and staff confidentiality.
• Comply with rules and procedures set by Building Principal.
• Be part of the support team for students and staff.
• Support the teacher and related staff in achieving goals for each student.
• Assist with CPI training where required for education positions.
• Support with student hygiene where needed for MO positions.
