Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Paraprofessional (Special Education) to support certified teachers and assist students with disabilities in line with IEP goals. The role requires familiarity with IEPs and reporting to case managers and the building principal.

Responsibilities include providing small group or individualized support, assisting with daily living activities, collecting data, and implementing behavior plans. A commitment to on-site work and ongoing training is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with special needs students desirable.
• Must obtain paraprofessional certification within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in meeting instructional and behavioral goals per IEP.
• Provide small group or individualized support to students with disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living to maximize participation.
• Collect instructional and behavioral data for objectives.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans as assigned.
• Communicate with teachers and respond to emails in a timely manner.
• Assist during standardized testing and monitor student movement.
• Support safe transitions and assist with assistive devices as needed.
• Participate in professional learning opportunities.
