Young World Physical Education is seeking a Paraprofessional for the 2026-27 school year in Michigan City, Indiana. Reports to: Building Principal, unless otherwise noted
The Paraprofessional is to assist the teacher with the implementation of Individual Education Programs of students identified with disabilities. The teacher provides direct instruction, and the Paraprofessional provides guidance. The role is supportive, part of a team to meet each student’s needs. Assistance may be across special education, general education, or other learning environments. Paraprofessionals also help with classroom procedures including educational support, mobility, vocational, behavior, functional skills, and physical or occupational therapy support.
Salary Scope: $14.82 per hour plus $2.50 per hour supplement
