Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools seeks a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff. You will assist with curriculum, behavior strategies, and progress monitoring in both in-person and remote-learning settings.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• No professional work experience required.
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training.
• Medication administration training provided by the District as needed.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individuals and small groups.
• Implement IEP-mandated accommodations and maintain progress/behavior records.
• Prepare materials, administer tests, assist with attendance and documentation.
• Support online/remote learning activities and technology troubleshooting.
• Assist with other duties as assigned or requested.
