Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a paraeducator to assist students with severe special education needs under licensed supervision. You will support curriculum delivery, skill development, behavior strategies, and assignment completion in both in-person and remote settings.

Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, monitoring progress, maintaining records, and providing technical care to ensure a safe, hygienic learning environment.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• No professional work experience required
• Title I assignments must meet one of the following requirements: two years of higher education; an associate’s or higher degree; or demonstrated knowledge in reading, writing, and math

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
• Prepare materials, administer tests, and support classroom events (e.g., drills) daily.
• Support online/remote activities for synchronous or asynchronous learning.
• Monitor student behavior and reinforce appropriate actions daily.
