Job summary

Big Minds, Tiny Hands seeks a Special Education Teacher (Birth–2nd Grade) to provide home-based Special Instruction across NYC. The role requires NYS Certification and involves working directly with children birth–3 through the Early Intervention Program.

You will implement IFSP-based strategies, support development across cognitive, communication, and social-emotional domains, use play- and routine-based teaching, and coach families while completing progress notes.

Qualifications

• NYS Certification in Special Education (Birth–2nd Grade) required.
• Experience with young children (Early Intervention or preschool preferred).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in home-based settings.

Big Minds, Tiny Hands is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Birth–2nd Grade Certification) to provide home-based Special Instruction services to children (birth–3) with developmental delays through the Early Intervention Program.

This is a fee-for-service position offering flexible scheduling and competitive rates , with the opportunity to work directly with children and families in their natural environment.
