Job summary

Heart To Heart Children's Services seeks Special Education Teachers to provide Early Intervention services across all five boroughs of NYC. The role focuses on one-on-one support for developmentally delayed babies and toddlers, applying clinical knowledge to help milestones and coaching families for between-session success.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Special Education from an accredited university.
• Valid teaching certification: Birth-Grade 2 Students with Disabilities certificate.

Responsibilities

• The Special Instructor/Educator will be working one on one with developmentally delayed babies and toddlers who qualify for Early Intervention services within New York City.
• Providers are expected to educate and guide parents/caregivers to ensure successful implementation between sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Special Instructor/Educator will be working one on one with developmentally delayed babies and toddlers who qualify for Early Intervention services within New York City.

Providers are expected to utilize their clinical knowledge and skills to help the child reach their milestones, as well as, to educate and guide parents/caregivers to ensure successful implementation between sessions.
