Job summary

Medstaff Group seeks a certified Special Instructor / ABA Provider to deliver 1:1 ABA-based services to children from birth to age five in Sunset Park, Bay Ridge, and Boro Park. This contract role offers a flexible caseload and the opportunity to impact children’s daily environments.

Responsibilities include home- and daycare-based service delivery, implementing Early Intervention goals, and coordinating with the child’s care team, with compensation of $83–$87 per hour.

Qualifications

• Specific experience with children under five; general pediatrics not sufficient.
• Valid EI/ABA credentials and state certifications required.
• Comfort delivering services in home- and daycare-based settings.

Position Overview

A growing Early Intervention agency is seeking a certified Special Instructor / ABA Provider to deliver Special Instruction and ABA-based services to children from birth to age five in Sunset Park, Bay Ridge, and Boro Park. This contract role offers a flexible caseload and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children’s everyday environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 Special Instruction and ABA-based services
• Deliver services in the child’s home or daycare as assigned
• Implement individualized Early Intervention goals and strategies
• Document each session and coordinate with the child’s care team

Qualifications

• One qualifying certificate: Permanent Special Education, Birth–Grade 2 (issued before 2004); Students with Disabilities, Birth–Grade 2, Initial or Professional; or TBVI, TBPS, TDHH, TDH, TSHH, or TSLD
• Specific experience working with children under age five; general pediatric experience alone is not sufficient
• Comfort providing services in home- and daycare-based settings
• One year or more of experience specifically with young children is preferred; experienced candidates new to this age group may be considered for mentorship.

Area Coverage

• Sunset Park and Bay Ridge: Spanish-speaking providers are a plus.
• Boro Park: Yiddish-speaking providers are preferred; coverage is needed in the 50s and along all avenues; providers must be willing to serve children in homes, not only daycares.
