Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with coordinating instructional programs for special education students.
• Support behavioral intervention plans implementation in classrooms.
• Prepare materials and organize activities aligned with lesson plans.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information per FERPA.
• Foster an environment conducive to learning and safety.
• Support transitions between classes and assist with health care needs as required.
• Assist with assistive technology and AAC devices in the classroom.
• Keep accurate reports and required documentation.
• Participate in district staff development and professional growth.
• Collaborate with staff, students, parents and community partners.
