Job summary

The School District of Springfield Township seeks an Instructional Assistant to support students with disabilities under the direction of the special education teacher and principal. Qualifications

Experience with students with special needs preferred.
Must enjoy working with children.
Must be considered highly qualified in PA by completing at least 2 years of post-secondary study (48 credits) or possess an associated degree or higher or meet a rigorous standard of quality via a State or local assessment (Paraeducator Credential).

Responsibilities

The Instructional Assistant fills a critical role in implementing and serving students with disabilities under the direction of the special education teacher and principal.
The position will work supporting students with special needs during Drama activities before or after school/weekends during the school year.
