Job summary

The School District of Springfield Township is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support students with disabilities under the supervision of the special education teacher and principal. This role includes helping during Interact Club activities before or after school and on weekends throughout the school year.

Candidates should have experience with special needs and enjoy working with children. Meeting PA qualification requirements or pursuing the Paraeducator Credential is required or

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with special needs is preferred.
• Must enjoy working with children.
• Must be considered highly qualified in PA by completing at least one listed requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing services for students with disabilities under the direction of the special education teacher and principal.
• Support students with special needs during Interact Club activities before/after school and on weekends.
• Follow any other job-related instructions and perform duties requested by the supervisor.
