Job summary

The School District of Springfield Township seeks an Instructional Assistant to support students with disabilities under the direction of the special education teacher and principal. Qualifications

• Experience with students with special needs preferred.

• Must be considered highly qualified in PA by completing at least 2 years of post-secondary study (48 credits) or possess an associated degree or higher or meet a rigorous standard of quality via a State or local assessment (Paraeducator Credential).

• The Instructional Assistant fills a critical role in implementing and serving students with disabilities under the direction of the special education teacher and principal.
• The position will work supporting students with special needs during Drama activities before or after school/weekends during the school year.

The position will work as needed depending on the activity/sport schedule.
