ResponsiveEd in Texas seeks a Special Education Instructional Aide to support students with varied disabilities. You will assist the Special Education teacher, help implement IEPs, and monitor student progress to ensure effective services.

You will collaborate with therapists and other staff, maintain records, and participate in ARD/REED processes while supporting general education goals and compliant procedures.

Formación

• Must be a high school graduate or GED holder.
• Experience with students or parents as approved by the supervisor.
• One of: 3 years as Educational Aide I/II, or 30 college credits with child development focus, or completion of an Education Service Center Aide course.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in educational and social development of students under teacher and admin guidance.
• Support implementation of Individual Education Plans and monitor progress.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom.
• Collaborate with professionals (speech therapists, social workers, therapists).
• Assist in maintaining student records and ARD/REED scheduling.
• Assist in arranging contracted service providers and track timelines.
• Ensure student progress data informs service effectiveness.
• Update and send IEP report cards to parents alongside general reports.
