Lewiston Public Schools is seeking an Education Technician III to assist in delivering educational services under IEP and PBSP within RISE/Day Treatment. You will support 1:1 and small group instruction, follow deescalation plans, and help prepare instructional materials throughout the day.

The role emphasizes data collection, collaboration with teachers, and maintaining organized displays and classroom setup while ensuring student safety and program fidelity.

Qualifications

• Three years postsecondary education or 90 credit hours in a related area.
• Education Technician III certification required by Maine DOE.
• School Based Behavioral Health Professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 1:1, 1:2 and small group instruction for complex learners.
• Implement and follow an IEP and PBSP; de-escalation as needed.
• Prepare materials and set up classroom for specialized instruction.
• Collect data and perform data entry; maintain displays and bulletin boards.
