Job summary

Lewiston Public Schools is seeking an Education Technician III to assist in the RISE/Day Treatment program, delivering services per each student’s IEP and PBSP.

The role involves facilitating 1:1, 1:2 and small group instruction, preparing materials, data collection, and following de-escalation strategies under the direction of the Special Education Teacher. Strong teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow IEP and PBSP and implement de-escalation strategies throughout the day.
• Experience with 1:1, 1:2 and small group instructional settings.
• Capability to collect data and enter it accurately.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate 1:1, 1:2 and small group instruction across academic and social activities.
• Prepare materials and assist in setting up classrooms for specialized instruction.
• Assist with data collection, entry, and bulletin board displays.
• Follow day-to-day student schedules and safety protocols.
