Job summary

Memspa seeks a Teacher Assistant to collaborate with teachers and other assistants to provide quality educational activities for students. You will assist with basic student needs, including feeding, self-help skills, toileting, and communication strategies, while prioritizing safety and educational goals.

Work under supervision to implement IEP goals, support behavior management programs, and help with daily classroom operations and records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some experience with educational settings or aides preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feeding, self-help, toileting and daily living needs.
• Support students with IEP goals under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior support strategies.
• Provide supervision during transitions and on buses, gym, or playground.
• Help with record-keeping and administrative tasks related to student needs.
