Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide to assist students with instructional and behavioral support under the supervision of the special education team in Chino, CA.

The role involves helping with IEP objectives, personal care, mobility and daily living tasks, and collaboration with teachers and related service professionals. A high school diploma is required, CPR may be needed, and compliance with health and state requirements is essential; 18+ is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR certification (if applicable).
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Comply with all relevant professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Support students with instructional and behavioral needs under the supervision of the special education department.
• Assist with IEP objectives, classroom activities, and independent skill development.
• Provide personal care support including mobility, hygiene, and feeding.
• Collaborate with teachers and related service professionals (PT, OT, SLP).
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all professional standards.
