Job summary

Amergis seeks a School Aide to assist students requiring instructional and behavioral support under the supervision of the special education department and teachers. The role may also provide help with personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as determined by health professionals.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, and compliance with applicable health and safety standards; CPR may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).

Responsibilities
