Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide to support students requiring instructional and behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and supervising designee. The role may also provide support for personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as determined by health professionals.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, current CPR if applicable, and eligibility to meet federal/state/local requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with instructional and behavioral needs under supervision.
• Provide support for personal, mobility, and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals.
• Collaborate with the special education department and supervising designee.
