Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide to support students requiring instructional or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department. The role may also provide personal care and mobility support as directed by health professionals.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18, and meet health and safety requirements. CPR may be required depending on assignment and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional or behavioral support under supervision of the special education department and supervising designee.
• Provide support services for personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals.
