Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students in grades K-12 within a dynamic special education program. You will assist with implementing IEPs, providing individualized instruction, and helping students build essential academic and social skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic skills test.
• Associate degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
• Paraprofessional credential preferred.
• Ability to obtain crisis management certification.
• Experience with children in special education or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Experience with students with learning disabilities/autism/EB disorders beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive, safe learning environment.
• Provide individualized instruction and behavioral interventions on-site and in community settings.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with teachers.
• Assist with documentation, reports, and data entry.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
