Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide to support K-5 students in a special education setting. You will work with teachers to implement IEPs, provide targeted instructional support, and help students build essential skills in classroom and community settings.

You will monitor progress, reinforce positive behavior, and communicate with families and staff while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to school policies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
• Paraprofessional/paraeducator credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
• Implement individualized instruction and behavioral interventions.
• Monitor students during lessons and track progress.
• Communicate with teachers about student successes and needs.
• Support students in developing social, academic and daily living skills.
• Maintain confidential student records and documentation.
