Job summary

Dysart Unified School District is seeking a part-time Paraprofessional to assist the Special Education Teacher with implementing Specialized Programs and IEP support for students with disabilities. You will help in general education settings and maintain confidentiality under FERPA while supporting individual students and groups.

The role involves following lesson plans, preparing instructional materials, and collaborating with staff to ensure fidelity to district programs and services.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED; AA degree or 60 college credits accepted.
• First Aid/CPR certification required and must be in-person.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Special Education Teacher with implementing Specialized Programs and IEPs.
• Assist students with activities and adapt instruction to a continuum of services.
• Follow lesson plans and maintain FERPA confidentiality.
