Job summary

Dysart Unified School District is seeking a part-time paraprofessional to support students with disabilities and assist in the general education setting.

Under the supervision of the Special Education Teacher, you will implement IEP services, assist with instructional materials, and maintain confidentiality per FERPA. Strong communication and computer skills are essential to support student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA degree or 60 college credits or approved exam.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• AZ Identity Verified Prints (IVP FPCC) clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Special Education Teacher with implementing IEPs and specialized programs.
• Helps prepare instructional materials and supports student activities.
• Maintains confidentiality under FERPA and school policies.
• Assists students with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Participates in district professional development and Medicaid-related training.
