Job summary

Council Bluffs Community School District is seeking Special Ed. Paraeducators for the 2026/27 school year. Positions run district-wide with hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Elementary), 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

(Middle), and 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (High). Compensation ranges from $15.76 to $18.58 per hour, based on experience, plus a competitive benefits package and paid time off. Next school year begins 2026/27; applicants must meet one of the listed education qualifications.

Qualifications

• To qualify to be a Paraeducator, you must have at least ONE of the following: 48 credit hours of college coursework, an Associates Degree, a Paraeducator Certificate, or the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).
