Boston Public Schools Orchard Gardens K-8 Pilot is seeking a Special Education Inclusion teacher for a long-term substitute role in grades K-8. The position requires an SEI endorsement and Massachusetts licensure for Moderate Disabilities, with per diem pay and a start date to be determined.

Formación

• Hold a Bachelor's degree.
• Massachusetts Teaching License in Moderate Disabilities for the appropriate grade.
• ESL License or SEI Endorsement.
• Meet state and federal guidelines to be fully licensed and Highly Qualified.
• Authorized to work in the United States by first day of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Implement district learning goals aligned with state frameworks.
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
• Write and implement IEP goals and provide progress reports.
• Provide accommodations for learning and testing; develop curriculum as needed and prep for MCAS-Alt.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student needs and modifications.
• Assist with transition planning to adult living services when appropriate.
