Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for licensure eligibility.
• Massachusetts Teaching License in Moderate Disabilities for the appropriate grade level.
• SEI Endorsement or ESL License at the appropriate level, or eligible.
• Meet standards of effective teaching and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Implement district goals aligned with state frameworks and portfolio development.
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
• Write and implement goals and objectives for IEPs with regular progress reports.
• Provide accommodations for learning and testing; adapt curriculum as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to support student needs and modifications.
• Assist students transitioning to adult living services where appropriate.
