Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Special Care Aide to join our nationwide home-based care team. You will be the first face clients see when services begin, coordinating with the branch team for a seamless start to care.

This role offers travel across the service area, flexible hours, advancement opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements include a HS diploma, 6 months caregiving, and relevant certs; use mobile tools to document visits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required where state regulations apply.
• Minimum six months of caregiving experience with elderly or disabled individuals.
• Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, CNA, or related certification where required.

Responsibilities

• Support new client admissions and Start of Care visits.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with daily living activities.
• Perform housekeeping and household support.
• Assist with errands and transportation as appropriate.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate visit records and documentation.
• Provide coverage for open shifts and urgent staffing needs.
• Travel throughout the assigned service area to support clients.
• Promote Elara Caring's mission and commitment to quality care.
