Job summary

Towson in Washington, DC is seeking a Special Assistant to provide expert analysis of work processes and policies and to support senior leadership with strategic initiatives.

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:

  • Requiring analytical, organizational, and oral communication skills to deal with issues and problems that involve numerous complex interrelationships, cross disciplinary and organizational lines and have significant public interest.
  • Preparing or coordinating the development of slides, charts, and other graphics to be used by leadership and other senior staff at national conferences, major meetings, Congressional hearings, and briefings, involving the highest levels of government and non-governmental officials.
  • Developing written documents pertaining to the organization's programs, accomplishments, and policies, as well as conducting special projects and studies that have a profound impact on the effectiveness of the Agency.
