Job summary

Qualifications

  • One (1) year of specialized experience that is equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression.

Responsibilities

  • Develop targeted organization strategies and work with other organizations to accomplish the goals and objectives.
  • Develop analytic and special reports for the Executive Official to be forwarded to other internal and external officials.
  • Initiate recommendations for improved procedures for greater efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
  • Advise the executive official of existing problems and recommend solutions/alternatives.
  • Recommend to the Executive Official new policies needed for the effectiveness of the organization in carrying out its mission.
  • Conduct research and fact-finding investigations, analyze, interpret, and document projects.
  • Establish priorities and follow through on major projects to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Identify problems and specific issues in a particular area, advise the supervisor, and recommend solutions.
  • Plan, develop, and coordinate special projects and assignments.
  • Study, coordinate and recommend resolution of major short- and long-term management problems.
  • Coordinate management projects, ensuring timely execution in accordance with established policies.
  • Develop and/or facilitate improvement projects with objectives and tasks.

  • Recommend to the Executive Official new policies needed for the effectiveness of the organization in carrying out its mission.
  • Conduct research and fact‑finding investigations, and analyze, interpret and document projects.
  • Establish priorities and follow through on major projects to ensure that deadlines are met before matters are referred to Executive Official.
  • Identify problems and specific issues in a particular area, advise the supervisor, and recommend solutions or alternatives.
  • Plan, develop and coordinate special projects and assignments.
  • Study, coordinate and recommend resolution of major short‑ and long‑term management and operational problems which have surfaced that are not systematic in nature.
  • Coordinate management projects, ensuring that projects are carried out in a timely manner, and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Develop and/or facilitate improvement projects with objectives and tasks, establish completion timelines, and monitor implementation.
Qualifications
  • Specialized Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience that is equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression.
  • Licenses and Certifications: None.
Working Conditions

The work is performed in a normal office setting.
