Job description

This position is with the Federal Student Aid (FSA), located in Washington, DC. FSA is responsible for awarding billions of dollars in federal student aid funds. Minimum Qualification Requirements

You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-15, if you possess the specialize experience.

Specialized Experience for the GS-15

One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-14 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments:

  1. Experience in working collaboratively with leadership creating and implementing programs connecting employees with enterprise level goals, e.g., measuring employee engagement and implementing organizational effectiveness interventions.
  2. Experience in applying analysis and implementation techniques to develop and build teams and identify opportunities to restructure processes and develop the details critical to successful implementation of organizational changes.
  3. Experience in utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques for gathering and analyzing data, measuring, and evaluating accomplishment of enterprise level goals and objectives, and improving systems or processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs).   1. Skilled in managing multi-team efforts in developing, interpreting, and adapting new or revised methods, policies and procedures that affect major agency programs and key aspects of the agency strategic plan.
  2. Knowledge of training methodologies and instructional design principles sufficient to plan and develop training programs for employees and senior leadership.
  3. Ability to function with complete delegated authority overseeing the overall planning, implementing, evaluating, and modifying goals, objectives, and overall support activities of the team.
  4. Skilled in work that frequently involves managing multi-team efforts with participation from significant resources outside the designated business unit.
  5. Knowledge in supervision and oversight requiring significant and extensive coordination and integration of professional and administrative work performed.
