Busey Bank is seeking an experienced Special Assets Commercial Underwriter II in Schaumburg, IL. You will provide accurate credit underwriting to support the Special Assets portfolio, working with Relationship Managers to identify risks and document them clearly in CCAR memos.

The role involves analysis of financial statements, collateral evaluation, and collaboration with Special Assets staff. A strong background in commercial credit is essential for success and growth within the team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of financial accounting.

Mansioni

• Perform financial statement analysis and ratio calculations per guidelines.
• Assess cash flow, liquidity, profitability, and leverage to manage risk on existing obligations.
• Prepare CCAR memos with risks, strengths, and weaknesses of borrowers.
• Evaluate collateral and industry data for creditworthiness.
• Support Portfolio Management tasks including testing covenants and monitoring reports.
• Maintain knowledge of Commercial Banking policies and systems (nCino).
• Assist in workout processes with Relationship Managers as needed.
• Participate in meetings to understand potential credits transferred to Special Assets.
