Job summary

Your Health Organization in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Clinical Scheduler to serve as the central scheduling and operational coordinator for a single interdisciplinary care team. The role ensures patients receive the appropriate number and type of in-person encounters within our value-based care model.

The position is full-time and based in the Spartanburg office with standard hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare degree preferred.
• Prior healthcare scheduling/administrative experience desirable.
• Familiar with medical terminology and insurance verification helpful.

Responsibilities

• Register, verify and schedule patients according to the care model.
• Track and follow up with new patients until scheduled.
• Schedule appointments based on availability, urgency and patient preferences.
• Coordinate schedules across care team disciplines and follow-up visits.
• Ensure documentation is complete and schedules are optimized.
• Utilize multiple software systems to manage patient follow-up and appointments.
• Communicate with patients via email, portal, phone, or in person to confirm appointments.
