Job summary

S&ME seeks motivated students for the 2027 Spark Summer Internship across Civil, Environmental, Construction, and Geotechnical Engineering. This 12-week program runs May–August 2027, offering hands-on experience, mentorship from ownership, and access to technical experts.

Housing is not provided, and eligibility requires enrollment in a related degree and a valid work authorization. Interns join a cohort, learn all aspects of S&ME, and gain professional development to ease campus-to-career

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred.
• Related campus, leadership, or work experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Out of town travel may be required.
• For technical roles the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required.
• Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.
