Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with vocational training in supply chain or technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in inventory management or spare parts administration.
• Familiarity with maintenance processes and spare parts management systems.
• Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems).
• Knowledge of purchasing procedures and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the inventory of spare parts, ensuring stock levels are maintained and replenished as required.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to order and track the delivery of spare parts.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all spare parts transactions and inventory updates.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to forecast spare parts requirements based on planned maintenance schedules.
• Oversee the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective purchasing.
• Conduct regular stock audits to ensure spare parts are accounted for and in good condition.
• Develop and maintain a database of preferred suppliers for quick access to needed parts.
• Prepare and present reports on spare parts usage, cost, and stock levels to senior management.
• Support the maintenance team by providing timely information on part availability and expected delivery times.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the spare parts management process.
