Job summary

Big Dreamers ABA is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Elkton, Maryland. You will implement ABA therapy under a BCBA, work one-on-one with children and individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities, and help improve social, communication, and daily living skills.

You will track progress with data, collaborate with families, maintain documentation, and support clients in daily activities and structured teaching sessions.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.
• Ability to effectively engage with children and adolescents.
• Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and track client progress through data collection.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
• Work closely with families and caregivers to ensure the consistent application of behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and medical records.
• Support clients in their daily living activities (ADLs) and social interactions.
• Conduct structured teaching sessions using ABA principles.
