Job summary

Big Dreamers ABA in Catonsville, MD is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children with autism and other developmental disabilities, under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement ABA-based interventions to improve communication, social skills, and daily living.

This role emphasizes collaboration with families, accurate data collection, and adherence to individualized treatment plans. A high school diploma is required; a BA/BS is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.
• Ability to engage effectively with children and adolescents.
• Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical documentation and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and track client progress through data collection.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
• Work closely with families and caregivers to ensure consistent application of behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and medical records.
• Support clients in daily living activities (ADLs) and social interactions.
• Conduct structured teaching sessions using ABA principles.
