Job summary

Big Dreamers ABA in Maryland is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental needs. You will implement behavior intervention plans created by BCBA professionals to support social, communication and daily living skills.

You will collect data, monitor progress, and help families apply ABA strategies at home and in clinic settings.

Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.
Ability to effectively engage with children and adolescents.
Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.
Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.
Implement behavior intervention plans and track client progress through data collection.
Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
Work closely with families to ensure the consistent application of behavior strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and medical records.
Support clients in their daily living activities (ADLs) and social interactions.
Conduct structured teaching sessions using ABA principles.
