Job summary

Big Dreamers ABA in Maryland is hiring a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with children and individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities. You will implement BCBA-designed intervention plans and support skill acquisition in communication, social interaction, and daily living activities.

You will conduct one-on-one sessions, collect data, maintain accurate progress notes, and collaborate with families to apply behavior strategies.

Qualifications

• Data collection to track client progress.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.
• Ability to engage effectively with children and adolescents.
• Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and track client progress through data collection.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
• Work closely with families and caregivers to ensure consistent application of behavior strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and medical records.
• Support clients in their daily living activities (ADLs) and social interactions.
• Conduct structured teaching sessions using ABA principles.
