Job summary

Big Dreamers ABA is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism spectrum disorder in our Elkton, MD center. You will implement BCBA-designed behavior plans to enhance social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting.

The role emphasizes data collection, progress documentation, and close collaboration with families. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with ABA principles and techniques.
• Ability to engage effectively with children and adolescents.
• Experience in special education or behavioral health settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical documentation, care plans, and patient care practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA guidance.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and track progress with data.
• Assist in development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with families to ensure consistent application of strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and records.
• Support daily living activities and social interactions.
• Conduct structured teaching sessions using ABA principles.
