Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism by implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques in a one-on-one setting.

The role requires patience, teamwork, and a willingness to obtain necessary certifications. Most duties involve standing, walking, and assisting children who may weigh up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and able to obtain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Move and assist children, including lifting up to 50 pounds, as needed.
