Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one intervention under the guidance of a BCBA. You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role requires patience and teamwork; comprehensive training is provided, and lifting up to 50 pounds is occasionally necessary. Compensation ranges from $18 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Assist BCBA with evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors through structured interventions.
• Collaborate with team to support each child's progress.
