Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. You need to be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, walk, lift, and move with children up to 50

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (within last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Sitting down and standing up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Running or moving quickly as needed to interact with, and for the safety and protection of your client(s).
