Job summary

Welo Data is seeking Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems. You will evaluate model outputs and provide structured feedback while performing audits of data and model behavior. This role emphasizes consistency, attention to detail, and adherence to guidelines in a high-volume environment.

Candidates must be native Spanish (Mexico) speakers, have 1 year of relevant work experience (or a Bachelor's degree), and be willing to work onsite in multiple U.S. cities.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Spanish (Mexico)
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior — identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully — and flag when they don't reflect real-world scenarios
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way
