Welo Data is seeking detail-oriented Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems in onsite roles across several U.S. locations. The role focuses on delivering high-quality labeled data while adhering to strict guidelines and consistent quality control.

Responsibilities include evaluating model outputs, performing audits, and documenting findings. Candidates must have Spanish (Mexico) fluency, strong written skills, and at least 1 year of labeling experience or a related degree.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Spanish (Mexico).
• Strong written communication and language fundamentals.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling or related field; or a Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.
• Basic familiarity with AI, speech technology, or language data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior — identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully — and flag when they don't reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
