Welo Data is seeking detail-oriented Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems on a 100% onsite basis in the U.S. This role focuses on evaluating model outputs, auditing data quality, and maintaining rigorous guidelines for reproducible results.

The position requires native Spanish (Mexico) fluency, strong written skills, and at least 1 year of labeling experience or an equivalent degree.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Spanish (Mexico).
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
• Strong written communication and language fundamentals.
• Willingness to work onsite in specified cities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior; identify patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
