Job summary

Welo Data is seeking detail-oriented Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems. This 100% onsite, full-time role focuses on building high-quality labeled datasets from audio and language data across multiple locations in the United States.

You will help ensure models are trained on accurate, well-structured inputs. We require native Spanish (Mexico) fluency, strong writing skills, and 1 year of labeling experience or a related degree.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Spanish (Mexico).
• Strong written communication skills.
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling or related field, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in structured, process-driven environments.
• Willingness to ask questions and escalate when needed.
• Basic familiarity with AI, speech technology, or language data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior — identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully — and flag when they don’t reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
