Job summary

Welo Data is seeking data labeling analysts to support speech and voice AI systems. You will evaluate AI outputs, perform audit-based reviews, and ensure high-quality labeled data across Spanish-language inputs. The role emphasizes accuracy, consistency, and the ability to work within structured workflows onsite in US locations.

This full-time, 40-hour role requires on-site work with travel/commute to listed cities and no remote option. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Spanish (Spain).
• 1 year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.
• Willingness to ask questions and escalate when needed.
• Basic familiarity with AI, speech technology, or language data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
• Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior - identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Apply guidelines thoughtfully - and flag when they don't reflect real-world scenarios.
• Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks, not just executing them.
• Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
• Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
• Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
