Qualifications

• Valid educator license in Spanish or eligible for a conditional license.
• Bachelor's degree in Spanish or Spanish education.
• Knowledge of federal laws protecting the educational services for students with disabilities.
• Excellent oral and written communications and human relations skills.
• Ability to plan and implement lessons based on division and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assess student abilities and monitor progress.
• Plans and implements appropriate instructional/learning strategies and activities.
• Collaborates with other professionals to maximize learning opportunities.
• Maintains effective discipline and management procedures in the classroom.
• Communicates with parents, both written and oral, about student progress.
• Participates in in-service and staff development activities.
