Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and valid Chinese teaching credentials.
• Knowledge of federal/state education laws affecting instruction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience planning and delivering Chinese language lessons.

Responsibilities

• Assess student abilities and progress toward goals.
• Plan and implement instructional strategies using multimedia.
• Develop and adapt materials within the City Schools framework.
• Maintain discipline and manage classroom behavior.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximize learning opportunities.
• Communicate with parents about student progress.
• Supervise paraprofessionals and volunteers as assigned.
